Heia, my name is Luca. I'm originally Tamil/Japanese, came to Norway to study at the Art Academy and now based in Tromsø.

I'm obsessed with viruses, hacking, surveillence systems and the hidden layers of the internet. That physical isolation of the arctic feeds into how I think about digital space. Remote landscapes, remote servers, remote control. Everything feels slightly out of reach but still connected.

I build systems through coding, old or unstable hardware, TouchDesigner and AI models. A lot of my work involves building objects/environments that behave in ways not intended to and recording those responses or degrading those softwares in realtime.

I'm a part of two collectives, SasusuRadio and HeatKilL. Sasusuradio is a norwegian-tamil radio platform in which I've been working with experimental radio broadcasts and sound-based projects. As an ongoing member of HeatKilL, I've been involved with making experimental video performances and installations.

I've shown work in exhibitions and projects in Norway and internationally, including Wrong Biennale, Bergen Center for Electronic Art (BEK), Insomnia Festival, Arctic Moving Image Film Festival (AMIFF), Kyoto Prefectural Museum, and Khoj International Artists Association. I'm interested in moving beyond traditional gallery presentation, exploring ways of working in experimental web spaces, open-source platforms, and physical contexts that are not usually read as exhibition spaces.
