Kom og se rommet mitt explores isolation, surveillance, and human connection through a surreal, immersive scenario. A boy is trapped in a room without any sense of time or place, while a printer continuously prints messages for him. Slowly, he realizes a camera is monitoring his every move. In an attempt to communicate, he writes messages on paper, reaching out to the camera and its unseen audience. The video is randomly livestreamed in Alta, northern Norway, and the audience is invited to respond. They scribble messages on napkins and papers, showing concern and engagement for the boy. The artwork is made as part of HeatKIlL collective with Kacper Krajewski. We collaborated with Kongsbakken theathre school student, Benoni Brox Kane for the project.
